Roxane Revon is a stage director, performer and drama teacher. Born in France, she studied philosophy at La Sorbonne University in Paris and Tor Vergata University in Roma (Masters Degree). She studied Theater in South of France at the company “Théâtre de L’Atelier” in Aix-en-Provence, then at La Sorbonne in Paris, and finally at Yale University (Directing intensive) in 2018.

Now based in New York, she worked with "the Play Company", "Transatlantique Co.", "Dell'Arte Opera" and "Roots and Wings Co.", with whom she directed Two shall meet by Caralie Christo and Menteurs by Colette Lapointe, and co- directed “Carmen” by Bizet. Roxane also directed Lectures d'Aimé Césaire at the UN in 2013, Huis Clos/No Exit by Sartre for the live-streaming festival Wired Art in 2013-2014, and the US Premiere of Le Poisson Rouge by S. Grassian with Diffraction Co in 2014.

From 2014-2018, she directed many plays for L’Atelier Theatre NY, a non-profit company she co-founded with Laura Townsend. Credits include: Music-Hall by J-L Lagarce, The Bald Soprano by Ionesco, La Nuit de valognes by E.E Schmitt, Hotel Paradiso by Feydeau, Les Précieuses ridicules by Molière at the 4th Street Theatre, Jeu de Massacre by Ionesco, La Folle de Chaillot by Giraudoux.

Roxane was a member of the PD Unit of the Actors Studio in 2014 and directed in March 2014 Madwomen of Chaillot by J. Giraudoux with Actors Studio members. She is currently teaching drama at CUNY, John Jay College (College of Criminal Justice), and directed Love and Information by Caryl Churchill, Just Assassins by Albert Camus, Don Juan by Molière.
